Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow established the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center as a non-profit, 501(c)3 charitable organization in 1995 to provide critical services to children who are victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse, and their non-offending family members. We accept cash, check, or credit card donations to help fund the day-to-day operations. Below is a wish list of in-kind items (must be new and unopened) that donors may provide. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Client & Family Needs

Toys, bedding and supplies for our therapy and facility dogs that provide comfort to children/families. Seasonal Donation Ideas

FEBRUARY: Help a child feel loved; donate items for Valentine’s Day, i.e. boxes of Valentines Day cards and snacks. MARCH-APRIL: Springtime baskets, candy, small toys & other basket fillers. JUNE-JULY: Toys from the wish list to help fill our gift closet, personal hygiene “goodie bags” (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb/brush) JULY- SEPTEMBER: School supplies to help kids go back to school and be successful. OCTOBER-DECEMBER: Toys, books, stockings-suffers, gift cards, etc. to help make the holidays happy and bright for children and their families in-need.
