It's like objective mystery shopping and for a good cause!
Testers help us investigate housing discrimination, are paid per test, and work on an as-needed basis.
Testers will pose as a person interested in renting or buying an apartment/home. Followed up by writing an objective narrative of their interaction with the housing provider.
This is a hybrid volunteer opportunity, with in-person and virtual assignments given to those who test with us. All in-person testing is done safely and with pandemic protocols in place (ex: wearing a mask).
All volunteers must attend our virtual, 1.5 hour training before they can begin testing with us. Trainings are held every second Wednesday of the month from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST.
