BAG Lady Outreach

BAG Lady Outreach was birthed in 2014 by Archana Liggins after being inspired by the outreach work she completed in her corporate role at a local food bank. Working with food pantries, soup kitchens and group homes in the counties within the southern region of northern Illinois, Archana noticed a huge demand for resources and began personal outreach efforts in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs.

Our mission is to change the lives of the underserved community, realigning men and women with resources and support to alleviate poverty. BAG Lady Outreach creates bags for those in need. We collect gently used purses, bags, jewelry and accessories, toiletries and more to supply to the underserved community. Collecting and repurposing tangible resources and coordinating activities and events through multiple outreach efforts. BAG Lady Outreach’s vision is that one day everyone living in the US will have access to essential products, accessories, resources and encouragement to feel confident, healthy, loved and supported. We value our community and aspire to be worthy of good stewardship. We value collaboration with the community and providing resources to those in need. BAG Lady Outreach is woven in the fruit of the spirit. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
