We believe in making the world a better place by empowering women. We find joy in doing this in a supportive community of like-minded professionals from diverse countries and cultures. We are passionate about providing life-changing opportunities for women and girls through service. Our members donate their time and talents to a variety of initiatives throughout the Joliet area in efforts to empower and improve the lives of others.

Zonta expands opportunities for women and girls through our international education programs and service projects. Zonta stands for women’s rights. We advocate for equality, education and an end to child marriage and gender-based violence. We have a dedicated history of supporting women in education. Investing in the education of women and girls yields high returns, such as breaking cycles of poverty, fostering economic growth and empowering women both in the home and workplace
