Who We Are
Fido’s Landing NFP is a nonprofit organization based in Homewood, Illinois, dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and the people who love them. Founded by a group of passionate animal advocates, we believe every dog deserves compassion, care, and a chance at a better life. Our mission is driven by community values, a love for animals, and a commitment to creating a safer, more supportive environment for pets in need. We strive to be a trusted resource for pet owners, adopters, and fellow advocates throughout the South Suburbs and beyond.
What We Do
At Fido’s Landing, we provide essential services and support for dogs and their families through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming efforts. We offer temporary shelter and care for dogs in transition, facilitate adoptions into loving forever homes, and connect pet owners with resources like food, supplies, and veterinary assistance when needed. Beyond rescue, we’re also dedicated to community outreach and education—working to reduce pet homelessness and promote responsible pet ownership. Every dog we help is a step closer to a more compassionate community.
