PURPOSE: To archive United Way of Will County’s physical archive of historical photos and newspaper articles into digital files.
- Scan United Way of Will County’s archive of newspaper articles or photos into our computer system
- Convert the photo to a JPEG or PNG, crop and resize as necessary, and re-title the file to reflect the contents of the file
- Save both the PDF scan and the JPEG/PNG file in the appropriate computer location
