We are seeking a volunteer / intern to work as a Communication Marketing Assistant to increase the creation, maintenance, and expansion of our social media presence. This is an unpaid position.
Qualified candidates will:
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in utilizing various social media platforms.
- Be adaptable and willing to learn all facets of the foundation in order to promote its mission.
- Have excellent communication skills, as demonstrated in direct contact, virtual contact, phone contact, or electronic communication.
- Have excellent reporting, writing, and editing skills.
- Be able to work well independently, under direct supervision of our Communication Marketing Associate, and as a member of a team.
- Be able to accept feedback and be willing to assertively share ideas and proposals for expanding the social media presence of JMDMF.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion toward those whose lives have been impacted by addiction.
The Communication Marketing Assistant will be expected to regularly monitor all social media platforms, create and maintain a regular publishing schedule, and work toward increasing the social media presence of JMDMF.
