Tutors are needed for our YEP after school program. You will be assisting youth in the 2nd to 6th grade with their homework assignments in various subjects including math, science, etc. The program runs Monday to Friday with normal tutoring hours being 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, but may be extended as needed to help the students. Tutors will not be needed on days that the children do not have school.
As you will be working with minors, paperwork including a background check will need to be filled out prior to starting if you plan on volunteering more than 1 time. This procedure is for the safety of the children as well as the volunteer.
